What is Freeze Drying?
Freeze drying is a way of preserving food by gently removing moisture without using heat. First, the food is frozen, then placed in a vacuum where the ice turns straight into vapour. This process keeps the food’s shape, taste, and nutritional value — without any added preservatives. The result? Light, crunchy snacks that stay fresh for months and are perfect for lunchboxes, hiking packs, or on-the-go energy.
Shelf Life.
Unopened & Properly Stored:
Up to 25 years (especially in vacuum-sealed or Mylar packaging with oxygen absorbers).
•Standard Retail Packaging (zip-lock or resealable bags): 1 to 5 years, depending on storage conditions (cool, dry, and dark environments are best).
•Once Opened: 1 to 3 weeks for best crunch and flavour, especially if resealed well.
